On Saturday night, more than one year taken from his final struggle, Emmett squared off against longtime UFC veteran Michael Johnson on the most important card of UFC on ESPN 2. After two weeks of fightingthe crowd in the Wells Fargo Center began to voice their displeasure at what they regarded as too little actions.

But, with only a little less than one left at the contest, Emmett delivered the crowd into a frenzy as he split Johnson out of his senses with a picture-perfect over hand into the jaw.

To get Emmett (14-2), this indicated his first bout since being finished by Jeremy Stephens at UFC on FOX 28 at February 2018. Subsequent to the struggle, the Team alphamale product was made to endure facial surgery to get a myriad of hellacious injuries, including fractures into his nasal bone, zygomatic arch and orbital bones.

Johnson (1914 ), alternatively, saw his two-fight wins series snapped.
