Just three things in life are certain: Death, taxes and Justin Gaethje earning a Fight of the Night bonus.
Gaethje, a former WSOF champion, added another $50,000 for his banking account because of his one-round war against Edson Barboza at Saturday’s main event UFC Philadelphia. This marks Gaethje’s post-fight bonus in only five conflicts since debuting from the UFC in 2017. The guy dubbed “The High-light ” formerly got Fight of the Night accolades because of his wars against Michael Johnson, Eddie Alvarez and Dustin Poirier while making a Performance of the Nighttime for his destruction of James Vick.
For Barboza, thus giving him Fight of the Night honors, which dates back to his UFC debut this season.
UFC officials awarded Performance of this night time honors to Jack Hermansson, because of his 49-second submission over David Branch, and Paul Craig, because of his exhilarating third-round submission over Kennedy Nzechukwu.
For Craig, it was his third time receiving this incentive, while Hermansson earned his original.
