The Jordanne Whiley of britain has won the Daegu Open in South Korea – her fourth title in five championships since coming following the arrival of her son.
The 26-year-old recorded a 6-2 6-3 win over Japan’s Momoko Ohtani, that beat in last week’s Busan Open final.
“When I started my first comeback I never thought I’d win each one of them and become ranked inside the top 20 from April,” explained Whiley, who returned in December.
“I am really happy with my wins here in Korea.”
Whiley will currently compete in Saturday’s doubles with 38-year-old fellow Briton Lucy Shuker, before she heads into the Israel Open in May.
