The Greek team AEK Athens have obviously high ambitions in the upcoming season. The team from Greek capital has signed the player from the German Bundesliga. One of the best line-players in generation 1994, kid of BM Ciudad Real, Ignacio Plaza Jimenez made an interesting step in his professional career by signing a one-year contract with the team from Athens.
Plaza has played for three years at Fuchse Berlin before he moved to SC Magdeburg. He has experience from Spain of playing with Puerto Sagunto.
- I am very happy to have the chance to compete in a team like AEK and in a new country and one new beautiful city. I believe that my family and I will easily adapt to Greece and personally will give them everything for AEK. The people of the group approached me in an ideal way and showed how much they wanted me. A great project is being created by AEK, which will contribute to the entire Greek handball. This season I want to win all the titles I will claim with my new team and I hope it will be a beautiful year. I call all AEK friends to support us and I look forward to playing in front of them – said Plaza for the official website.
