“Da Last Samurai” is making his Canadian debut.

The UFC announced several bouts for it’s upcoming Sept. 14 Fight Night event at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia, including a bantamweight bout between Louis Smolka (15-6) and Ryan MacDonald (10-1)

Smolka, a former flyweight contender, made a successful return to the UFC last November, defeating Su Mudaerji by second-round submission. In his most recent outing this past March, he was submitted in the first round by Matt Schnell. MacDonald will be looking for his first UFC win after dropping a unanimous decision in his Octagon debut against Chris Gutierrez in March.

Also newly added to the show were a lightweight bout between Ontario’s Kyle Prepolec (12-6) and Austin Hubbard (10-3), and a bantamweight bout between British Columbian Cole Smith (7-0) and Contender Series standout Miles Johns (9-0).

The Smith-Johns bout was first reported by FloCombat.

UFC Vancouver will be headlined by a lightweight bout between Donald Cerrone and Justin Gaethje. The main card will air live on the ESPN+ streaming service.
