Two of the flyweight division’s brightest prospects could soon be facing off in Boston.

Gillian Robertson (7-3) and Maycee Barber (7-0) have agreed to fight at the Oct. 18 UFC on ESPN show. Both fighters confirmed the matchup on social media following a report by ESPN.

The news comes just days after Robertson, 24, improved her UFC record to 4-1 with a submission win over Sarah Frota at UFC 240 in Edmonton, Alberta. Robertson currently holds the most wins and most finishes (4) in the UFC’s nascent women’s flyweight division.

Barber, 21, is unbeaten since making her pro debut in June 2017. After earning a contract on , Barber has defeated JJ Aldrich and Hannah Cifers in her first two UFC appearances.

UFC Boston is scheduled to be headlined by a light heavyweight bout between former middleweight champion Chris Weidman and Dominick Reyes. The main card will air live on ESPN.
