Undefeated Welsh prospect, and former Cage Warriors bantamweight champion, Jack Shore will make his first appearance in the Octagon when he faces Nohelin Hernandez at Copenhagen on Sept. 28.

announced the bout via social media on Tuesday.

Shore (11-0-0) is considered to be one of the standout prospects in an MMA on the back of his Cage Warriors title run. After claiming the title—once held by veterans Brett Johns and Nathaniel Wood—with a third-round finish of highly touted Londoner Mike Ekundayo, “Tank” underlined his prowess with another third-round stoppage of Scottish judo specialist Scott Malone.

Hernandez (10-3-0) made his promotional debut at UFC 239 after being drafted in on short notice to face established bantamweight campaigner, Marlon Vera. Despite a spirited showing in the first-round, the debutant succumbed to a second-round rear naked choke. Hernandez has competed under the Bellator banner once, claiming a decision win over Josh San Diego at Bellator 199.
