A welterweight slugfest between Paul Daley and Sabah Homasi has been booked as the co-main event at Bellator 232 on Oct. 26 at the Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Conn.

Multiple sources confirmed the bout to MMA Fighting on Thursday following an initial report from ESPN.

Daley vs. Homasi is expected to serve as the co-headliner on a card that features the finals of the Bellator Welterweight Grand Prix in the main event with current champion Rory MacDonald taking on Douglas Lima.

Daley will return to action after picking up a win over UFC veteran Erick Silva in his most recent outing back in June. Daley has gone 2-2 in his past four fights in Bellator including a jaw-dropping knockout over Lorenz Larkin back in 2017.

As for Homasi, the former UFC fighter has earned back-to-back wins in his past two fights including a stunning 17-second knockout in his Bellator debut in August.

Homasi will now take a decided step up in competition as he faces Daley at Bellator 232 in October.
