Shane Burgos will again fight a short subway ride from home.

, N.Y., native and featherweight is slated to face Makwan Amirkhani, also known as “Mr. Finland,” at UFC 244. The pay-per-view event takes place Nov. 2 at in City.

The news was first reported by and confirmed by a promotion official. Burgos also retweeted reports of the booking.

Burgos (12-1) currently enjoys a two-fight winning streak capped by a split-call win over Cub Swanson in May at Ottawa. Prior to that, he picked up a first-round armbar win over Kurt Holobaugh at UFC 230. The victories upped his stock after the first professional loss of his career against Calvin Kattar at UFC 220.

244 will mark the second time Burgos has fought on home soil in just over one year.

Amirkhani (15-3) also has won his past two fights. In June at Stockholm, he submitted Chris Fishgold with an anaconda choke to pick up a “Performance of the Night” bonus.

244 is headlined by a welterweight clash between Jorge Masvidal and Nate Diaz for the inaugural “BMF” belt.
