After earning a UFC contract this past summer on Dana White’s Contender Series, Tracy Cortez has booked her first fight as she’s expected to face Duda Santana at the upcoming UFC Fight Night card from Sao Paulo, Brazil on Nov. 16.

Multiple sources confirmed the news to MMA Fighting on Friday following an initial report from MMAJunkie. The UFC has yet to officially announce the switch after “Ultimate Fighter” veteran Leah Letson was forced to pull out of the contest.

Details surrounding Letson’s withdrawal are still unknown at this time.

As for Cortez, she will move up from flyweight to bantamweight to make her UFC debut against Santana.

With a 6-1 record overall, Cortez impressed UFC president Dana White during her initial audition on the Contender Series where she defeated Mariya Agapova by unanimous decision back in July.

Now she will have make her Octagon debut at 135 pounds while facing Santana, who came up short in her only fight in the UFC when she fell to Bea Malecki back in June.

The UFC Fight Night card from Sao Paulo will be headlined by a light heavyweight match between Jan Blachowiz and Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza, who is moving up to 205 pounds after spending his entire UFC career as a middleweight.
