Two match-ups have been officially announced by the UFC for its upcoming Fight Night show in Sao Paulo on Nov. 16. Rising lightweight Charles Oliveira is set to meet Jared Gordon, while Ricardo Ramos moves up to featherweight to take on Eduardo Garagorri.

Sao Paulo native Oliveira (27-8, 1 no-contest), who has the most submission victories in UFC history, is on a five-fight finishing streak at lightweight, stopping Nik Lentz, David Teymur, Jim Miller, Christos Giagos and Clay Guida.

Gordon (15-3) returns to the same venue where he beat Hacran Dias via decision in 2017. Since then, “Flash” Gordon has lost back-to-back bouts to Brazilians Diego Ferreira and Joaquim Silva before scoring a decision win over Dan Moret last June.

Ramos (13-2), victorious in four of five UFC appearances as a bantamweight, has decided to move up to 145 pounds after a decision win over Journey Newson in June. A former LFA title challenger, “Carcacinha” has only lost to Said Nurmagomedov under the UFC banner.

Garagorri (13-0), the first Uruguayan fighter to ever compete in the octagon, returns to action after a successful debut over Humberto Bandenay at UFC Uruguay, winning via decision in August. The 30-year-old featherweight has finished 10 of his 13 opponents since his MMA debut in 2015.
